Point Loma Pet Pantry

I was very excited to go here and drove out of my way hoping for the experience i read about online. They don’t have many different samples. Once you open the product it’s yours. The employee had no knowledge of any of tbe numerous products I asked about. I definitely felt unwelcome and like I was in their way. Maybe if the employees got breaks regularly they wouldn’t be trying to get one in while there are numerous customers in the store.

By far, my favorite pet store. A good selection, that’s also healthy, along with killer customer service. Shout out to Brian for always being a pleasure to interact with. =]

This holistically driven pet food store is the best place I found purchase food for my dog and cats. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and if answered a wide variety of questions about Pet Care & Pet food. I think what I like most is the way the employees recognize my dog and I. They always offer treats and seemed genuinely interested in me as a customer. This is the only place you should be going to get pet food and advise on Pet Care.

A+++++++ EXPERIENCE. Our pup, who was recently diagnosed with kidney disease, suddenly stopped eating his Hills Diet food which made me feel a TEENSY bit worried. But I knew his appetite wasn't gone, because he was always eyeing our other dog's food. it's just that the poor guy hated the taste of Hill's (and I get it, it smells like hot NYC garbage). I went over to PL Pet Pantry, as I know from the past that they carry a wide range of treats for different diets, and the gentleman working–so sorry I didn't get his name– was knowledgable, friendly, and helpful beyond measure, offering several great KD-friendly options and offering a sample to make sure my pup liked what I chose. Fast forward 30 minutes, we just served dinner and my dude CRUSHED his whole bowl for the first time in a week.
