Point and Howl Dog Training

I found Point and Howl to help work with our six year old German Shepherd Mayday on his reactivity to dogs. He was attacked a few years ago and has not been the same. We had done training with other people in the past but it was not enough. From the first consultation I knew Ella would be different! She takes a holistic approach and, like I like to say, “speaks dog.” She knows their nature—instincts, behaviors, fears, joys. I cannot recommend Ella enough. She has helped me so much with understanding my dog's behavior which has improved our relationship immensely. When we first started working with her, our working line gsd had very selective listening skills with bouts of aggression. Ella helped us implement a structured routine for our dog as well as basic obedience. Our dog is now able to enjoy off leash walks which has improved her quality of life greatly.

Ella and all her dogs were amazing. We are going through dog (and handler) training for our rescue dog koa. Koa is reactive to other dogs and working with Ella has completely changed her behavior. We adopted our adorable cattle dog mix, Tak, and were feeling a bit overwhelmed with how to train her. Our vet recommended Ella and I am so thrilled she did! After just one visit, we understood what Tak needed from us and the changes in her behavior were immediate.
