Dr. Motler is an amazing veterinarian. My husband and I are parents to a 3 year old French Bulldog. Scarlette is everything to us and about 6 weeks ago we brought her to PVAH after being sent to over 5 doctors around NY state with what we thought was allergies. Dr. Motler discovered it was lymphoma. As devastating the news, Dr. Motler went to work to come up with the best plan of action that is within our power to maintain a good life for our Scarlette. Dr. Motler and her staff welcome us with open arms with every visit and Scarlette is happy and as healthy as she can be. What we like about Dr. Motler is she is straight to the point, honest and gives us real expectations. Dr. Motler understands how our Scarlette is no different than any other family member and is as compassionate about tak

I reached out to Pleasant Vally Animal Hospital for in Home Euthanasia of my Beloved Golden Retriever Dolly. I was transferred to Dr Motler who put me at ease and quickly worked me into her schedule. I can’t say enough about the Doctor, she was personal, comforting and above all took great care of my Dolly. Thankyou Dr Motler for providing this important service to our community.

!!UPDATEx2!! 1/23/25 I finally got my cats records and the third picture is what was attached. I only received my cat's records BECAUSE I filed a report. I'm sure Dr.Motler assumed the records would go directly to my new vet and not me. Very unprofessional behavior. I recommend NO ONE go there unless you want your appointment canceled, be unable to reschedule, be charged for THEM canceling your appointment, berated, and treated like absolute garbage. Thank you for the paper trail Dr. Motler. I received a copy of the email in the mail. So not only does she charge clients for trying to reschedule, she harasses them too. I originally loved this place but after yesterday I will never be back and will recommend no one go there. I was singing their praises and now will never be back. My appointm

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital, and I feel compelled to share my experience to help other pet owners make informed decisions. I scheduled an early morning appointment for my dog, who was showing signs of pain and dementia. However, 30 minutes before the appointment, the staff called to reschedule because Dr. Motler was called out on an emergency. While I understand emergencies happen, the lack of communication and clarity throughout the day was frustrating. I was asked to call back multiple times to check if the doctor had returned, only to be met with uncertainty each time. This lack of clarity led me to seek an emergency visit at another vet clinic. To make matters worse, Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital charged me a $75 cancellatio

Dr. Motler is amazing with all of my animals. She takes the time she needs with each one, gets to know them and remembers them. If I am in with another pet, she always asks about the rest of the family. After our dog was attacked, he was terrified of going to the vet. Dr. Motler worked with him, got down on the floor with him, let him come by for fun visits so he would not be so traumatized at his visits. Her compassion when having to put a pet down is enormous. She is as supportive of the pet owners as she is of her patients. She always tries to be accommodating and has gone out of her way to help. Yes, it's expensive to care for your pets. But if you analyze all the hours she is open, the after hours accommodations, the extra care she provides you will find that she is working for much l
