I had a wonderful experience at Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital yesterday. I reached out early in the morning to schedule an appointment for my dog, who needed an X-ray after an ER visit the night before. They were able to fit us in at 1 p.m., which I really appreciated. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist — she was pleasant and very friendly, which immediately made me feel at ease. Dr. Miller and Kristy took great care of my dog during the exam and X-ray. Dr. Miller took the time to explain the results in a way that was easy to understand, and both her and Kristy went above and beyond to make sure all of my dog’s needs were addressed. I've been taking my babies to PHAH for many years that I feel like family every time I walk through their door. The staff are always pleasant, caring and understanding, especially when I had to put two of my babies to sleep. They ALL show pure and genuine love towards my babies. The vets explain any prognosis in simple terms so that I can understand whats happening and why my little one is sick. They share all options for care explaining what would not only be best for our little ones, but also taking into consideration the cost, which I greatly appreciate. I have been taking my dog to this hospital for about a year now and every time we go I know that he's getting the best possible care and attention. The staff are always super friendly, helpful, and excited to see my dog. The doctors are fantastic, knowledgeable, and great at communicating what kind of care is best for my pup. I’ve also had the chance to talk to the owner about the hospital and the renovations they’re doing, she definitely runs a tight ship and has boosted my already high confidence in the hospital. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

I chose this pet clinic because it is close to home and convenient. From filing a file to all vaccinations, the clinic cooperated. But this time it was a very bad experience. I just wanted my dog ​​to have a double row of teeth extracted, but they actually sterilized my dog ​​without my knowledge. They said it was for the good of my dog, but I think at least they should have my consent and discussed it. Now I can only accept the fact and let my dog ​​not be depressed.

Excellent place! They treated my dog with kindness and compassion, calmed my fears as a dog mom. They were extremely supportive and helpful. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10!
