I rescued a neighborhood stray cat a couple of years ago. He’s a wonderful cat who is as old as I am these days. He’s a polydactyl, all grey who lived a hard life before he touched the sucker in me. I have had a couple of really bad experiences with local vets, the last resulting in the death of one of my cats. To say the least I was very scared to bring this old guy to any one. Doc Dennison has been the most informative vet I’ve ever been to. He was as patient and kind to me as he was to my cat. For an old cat lady on SS his fees were more than reasonable. He was as kind to me as he was to my old stray cat. I am so grateful to Doc Dennison and his staff and I cannot speak more highly of everyone at Plateau Valley. Thanks to all. B. Ridlon Rifle
I took my 2 golden doodles to Dr. Dennison for 3 vaccinations in their new Rifle office. When I walked in they had glossy wood floors and my 10 year old dog was slipping and falling constantly. A vet tech walked by and told her to use her pads not her claws! I was told that my dogs needed to be seen by Dr Dennison because they were new patients which I agreed with. He charged $70.98 for each office visit and only gave them their vaccinations. Didn’t listen to their hearts, check their teeth, take their temperature, nothing, just gave them their shots that a vet tech could have done. So I ended up paying a total $317.46 for 6 vaccinations and have no peace of mind that my dogs are healthy. I would never go back to Dr. Dennison if my dogs life depended on it!
Dr Dennison is very professional and his experience shows greatly. I feel so fortunate to have such a hugely qualified yet down to earth vet so close to home. I have full faith in Dr Dennison with my performance horses, dogs and anything in between.
Dr. Dennison has gone above and beyond for my animals. I recommend him highly and frequently. The compassion and care exemplified within his practice is very evident.
High quality care and compassion for every fur friend. Dr. Dennison helped our little dog Remy with minor surgery. He's very experienced.
