Had a wonderful experience with Dr Alonzo. Super nice doctor. He took his time and explained everything to us in great detail. We talked for a while. Very nice to us and our dog. My dog basically only had vaccinations, but Dr Alonso called the next day to see how our dog is doing. Our vet tech was Yeliana and was fantastic. Great people. Thank you!

The entire team provides such excellent, compassionate care! We operate a beagle rescue, and they are incredibly attentive to each and every hound we bring in and their unique needs. They take the time to explain results and next steps in easy-to-understand terms, and are very mindful of our limited budget when discussing our options. Yeliana, the vet tech, in particular gives extra special attention to the pups, and gives them lots of love while providing exceptional, professional care. The team here is incredible! Our sweet Nessie needed an emergency visit and the team took us in immediately, they were waiting at the door for our arrival. Yelina and Dr Sausner took excellent care of Nessie for an affordable cost. Everybody here is so sweet and reassuring!

Plantation Midtown Animal Hospital is the best place your pet could be taken care of. Front desk staff is attentive and welcoming. The techs are very friendly and I’ve never waited long to be seen once put into a room. Dr. Sausner has been patient and willing to answer questions during my first few appointments as a first time dog mom. My experience with Dr. Alonso was on an emergent/illness basis and I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable, compassionate, and reassuring person to take care of my dog. He takes his time to explain absolutely every step and medical term he uses for your better understanding and is as concerned for your pet as you are. I would recommend them to anyone who wants their pets medical team to care about their pet as much as they do.

Brought my two dogs in for a regular check-up and vaccinations. The tech told me it would be $240 per dog, which I agreed to. When I asked about adding flea and heartworm prevention, she would tell me in person, and instead brought a quote on a clipboard. It looked like a single page, clearly labeled “page 1 of 1.” She stood there as I reviewed it, never mentioning that there was a second page underneath. At checkout, I was told the total was about $1,500 for both dogs which was more than double what I agreed to. Only then did the tech say there was a second page with more charges. That same tech who had just watched me look at the first page and say yes without mentioning the second or how big the jump in prices was. The actual vet and front desk/ other staff were all very nice and sweet
