Piscataqua Animal Hospital

Our poor Zappa is super anxious and reactive in close settings. Wasn't always this way, and over the years has become worse. The team at Piscataqua has worked with us over the years to medicate appropriately ahead of care, and to plan how to do as much work as possible during our visits (to limit the number of our visits!). This most recent visit, Dr. La Rosa and her team were stellar. I know their work can be fraught with stressors no matter how calm the patient, but they take it all in stride and do their best to take care of the parents as well as the pets! Well done all around. I cannot say enough good things about how flexible and accommodating the team at Piscataqua Animal Hospital has been. In a world where it feels impossible to get a last-minute appointment or a quick answer, this clinic is a breath of fresh air.

My dog Tessie (10 yrs old) had to have several teeth removed due to an infection as well as a growth removed from her tongue. Dr. Comelio and the team did a fantastic job! I expected Tess to come home traumatized by the whole ordeal. Instead the moment I saw her, I could see the relief in her eyes. I’m sure she was sore, but from that moment the spark was back in her eyes and she is the happy girl she has always been! Thank you so much for the obvious care you showed my Tessie girl! ❤️❤️❤️

Great health care for my cats, as well as excellent emergency care follow-up. Very knowledgeable and helpful people here, I'm very grateful for their compassion and advice over the years.

This hospital is amazing! The staff genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of veterinary care. 10/10!!
