Had what we came for (some indoor potting soil for cactus) at same prices I found online. So much better when can shop local! The employee was super nice and helpful, he for sure knew what he was doing not just some part time help with no knowledge. Will be coming back for sure

Lots to look at in this store! Plant selection is beautiful If you don't see something you're looking for to talk to the staff they can look into ordering it for you. Lots of fish to look at the axolotls are adorable. Normally have bearded dragons and a few different types of snakes and all the supplies you'll need to take care of it all.

I love going into Pioneer West pretty much every week to see what new fish they get in stock, the people are always super nice and are able to help me find whatever I need when I need something specific.

This is "Carlos" and he is a very healthy fish we purchased at a fair price from Pioneer West Garden and Pet Store. He is about the size of a small Chihuahua (he's a HUGE fish!) and is a happy, hungry guy! They have a great selection of EVERYTHING you need and the staff was so friendly they all said goodbye to him and told us about his name. Love this place and strongly recommend!

Pioneer West is the place I go to for my tarantula supplies. They have a great selection of tarantula food! My lil buddy prefers live crickets, but they also sell live meal worms. Also bought a new terrarium from their store. My tarantula is definitely enjoying the extra room!
