Pineywoods Pet Retreat - Pollok

We love bringing our dog to Pineywoods. The facilities are always impeccably maintained and our dog is always SO excited to go. When boarding, the dogs get their own little room for the evenings, and are separated for mealtimes and sleeping. We always bring what seems like a lot of things, his bedding, food and some toys but it all fits into his space and cubby. The dog runs always look clean, though I havent been out there myself, with all the photos we get of our pup the turf always looks clean and all the dogs look happy and healthy. This is our #1 place to board and bring our dog for a short daycare, run-out-the-energy-type visit. 100% recommend Pineywoods Pet Retreat. And though we have yet to get our dog groomed here, im sure they do a great job just like everything else they do.

The last 4 months of 2025, my 2 dogs spent quite a bit of time at Pineywoods Pet Retreat. My husband was going back and forth to MD Anderson and on a moments notice they were able to accommodate my 2 dogs. I hated Leaving my dogs so much and for lengthy stays but I could tell by their faces in the pictures that they were happy and well cared for. That took so much stress off of me. When I arrived to drop my dogs off all I had to do was open the car door and they ran right to the door, usually Emily had it open and waiting. Emily you went above and beyond to help me out and I am ever so grateful. Thank you so much!!
