They saved my dog and helped bring him home, he will get to bask in the sun once again. I am very grateful for the folks working here. They were kind and caring towards my dog. They were understanding of me waiting in the lobby for 8 hours or so, waiting for my dog to be well enough to take home. In an emergency situation, I recommend Pilchuck Vet.

Don't go here if you have an actual emergency/something that may need surgery. Went here after my dog had leakage start in the middle of the night from a recent surgery (VCA Alderwood performed the surgery don't recommend them either). Took over an hour to get in a room even though my dog was actively dripping blood all over their lobby. After getting in a room that was like 90 degrees waited 45 mins for a doctor to come in. They took him away for 45 mins and inspected the wound. After coming back the vet told us he definitely needed surgery but they didn't have the anesthesia equipment necessary so we would have to go somewhere else (how can you call yourself a hospital and not have simple surgery equipment?). I asked how extensive/expensive the surgery would be and she said probably 5-10

I called in advanced and described my pet’s injury. I was told to bring him in and the wait time wouldn’t be very long. After arriving I was met my a Tech. She asked a few questions as I completed the necessary paperwork. She told me they were euthanizing other animals (not sure why she felt it was important to tell me that) and would see me shortly. I was the only person in the waiting room. Approximately, 20 minutes later another Staff Member collected my paperwork and led me to a treatment room. He informed me a another Staff Member would be with me shortly and closed the door. 45 minutes later I opened the door and saw the same male Staff Member from earlier. I asked how long before my pet would be examined. He got pretty huffy and told me there were other animals with “real emergenc

I do not enjoy making negative posts and very rarely do so. I am not typically lost for words but in today's visit to Pilchuck Vet U.C., I'm a bit flummoxed. I brought in my 75yo mother, in a walker, and her dog who had a head injury of some sort into the urgent care on a Monday @8am; only one 'patient '. The dog wasn't bleeding, but we were there as a emergency visit. My wife is a pediatrician and I understand fully waiting for doctors. The problem wasn't the wait for the doctor but in the utter lack of any given time frame other than 'someone else, before us' from the tech, but nothing from check-in until after we' d been patiently waiting for 2.5hrs and asked the front desk if there was any word on timing or if things could be hastened as my mom was starting to tire and started to

What a horrible place left me in a room for almost 2 hrs while my dogs nose began swelling up waited for 30mins more mins for a receptionist or something to ask why I've been waiting so long?? No one to be found just a bunch of other people waiting! I finally got fed up and left and took my dog to Redmond and was seen within moments and treated promptly! This place should at minimum tell people that you may have a SEVERAL HOUR wait and if your dog worsens in the meantime good luck they won't help! They didn't even treat my dog, clean her wound up, check her temp. Just looked at her nose for 30 seconds and and are now trying to charge me 200 for sitting in a room for hours with no help!
