I utilize mostly the aquatic section. The fish selection is fair and prices are also fair. Sometimes the fish don’t seem real healthy but they are always good to honor their policy and take them back if they die in the first few days after purchase. They also honor online pricing which can save you a bundle.

I’ve been to a couple other Pet Marts around Texas and this one in Waco, Texas is definitely one of the best. The only reason it falls a little short of perfect (in my opinion) is because the Customer Service sucks. I’ve been there 3 or 4 times in the past 4,5 months & every time I’ve gone, there have been at least one or two lines of people waiting to check-out right when I’m heading to “the checkout line”. Always there is an “unfortunate” & “unacceptable” line waiting to check-out out.

I had to get some cat supplies. I walk in and there's a sign that said, "see associate for free cat samples." The ONLY associate i saw was the woman at the checkout and she said she had no idea about the samples. This isn't about the "free samples," it's about making an offer and not telling your employees about it. And, obviously not having enough staff on the floor, since I only saw the 1 woman at the cash register. Here's some "free advice." Make sure your people working know about special promotions. Look at that, you don't even have to look for me to get it.
