We booked an appointment online. When booking you have to upload a photo of the animal, list basic behavioral information, and list its size. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our appointment and were informed they did not have a kennel for him because he is a large dog and all the large dog kennels were full. That would be fine if we hadn’t booked an appointment. After reading other reviews it looks like we dodged a bullet and saved our selves a less than satisfactory experience. We won’t be back.

I took my Akita here for a bath and the service was terrible. My dog came back still smelling bad, his coat wasn’t properly cleaned, and they didn’t even bother brushing him out the way they should. For the price I paid, this is completely unacceptable. If you actually care about your dog, I would NOT recommend bringing them here.

I love how the Petsmart groomers take care of my dog. They are very patient and understanding of his separation anxiety.

BEWARE ADOPTING A PET HERE!!! They gladly take your $200. Then when the cat is wild and has a pre-existing, eye infection-they WILL NOT take it back. They tell you to drive to Othello, Washington-2 1/2 hours from Yakima, to return the cat. EXTREMELY rude, unaccomidating, unprofessional, attitude from Petsmart's "manager". FYI, the Yakima Humane Society will only take THEIR cats back that they sell to Petsmart. "Hands & Paws", said they would "get back to me" NEVER got back to me. BUYER BEWARE---it's a animal money-making mill. Low class operation on all parts.
