Always a great time and a great selection of friendly cats and adorable small animals. We got a Cobalt Blue Cichlid fish this day. 2 and 1/2 years ago we got our beloved cat Tarzan there and then his sister Jane a year later!
We went during their adoption event to get some stuff for our guinea pigs, I usually don’t like Petsmart or Petco, but these employees make this location good even if the company isn’t. I definitely recommend going to this location for pet stuff if you don’t have anywhere else to go. The fosters are really great with these animals and the people who work the event are awesome!
Great service from the grooming department for my two dogs. They came out looking, smelling great. Also this location has the hotel and clinic inside as well. Did not know this as I can use those services in the future since my dogs meet the vaccine requirements.
Very disappointed in the grooming salon this time. My German Shepherd is blowing her coat so I took her in for a deshedding bath. Paid $79. She came home shedding as much as she was to begin with and then woke me up at 4 in the morning with diarrhea. I bought her a bottle of water when we arrived and advices the groomer that she does not drink tap water and apparently they gave her tap water. 😡 Last time I use them. Definitely not worth the money. Disappointed
This is intended as a helpful review, not a hateful one. I would highly suggest that the groomers learn how to respond to a nervous/anxious dog. When you squat down, look the dog in the eyes, dangle the leash in front of them and try to coax them to come to you it only makes the situation more uncomfortable for the dog leading to potential aggression. This approach was first used with my non-anxious/non-nervous/non-aggressive dog who backed up and barked at the groomer. Do you really think the same approach is going to work with a nervous dog? It makes me wonder if Petsmart hires just anybody to work in the grooming salon. An experienced groomer, or at least a somewhat knowledgeable one, would know how to properly handle the situation. I won’t be going back.
