Great staff. Clean store. Fish and Parrot section really need some inventory. They are currently refurbishing the aquatic section. Maybe the local people will get something new. I have shopped at this location since it opened and I bet we have had a total of three new types of fish since then. They should be embarrassed with their selection. It's the only petstore on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and everyone on the islands has the exact same fish. We need some variety.

They could care less about helping anyone. Cashier walked away mid checking us out without saying anything. Then came back and was not friendly. Came for photos with Santa and it didn’t even seem like they were doing it. Finally found him hidden in a corner room and he wasn’t prepared for the 4:30 appointment we had set hours before. Such an uncomfortable shopping experience.

I frequent a lot this location. My last visit was not as pleasant as I am used to here. The guy acted like I was a bother that I come in and had to stopped what he was doing to come to the register. If it wasnt my dog needed the food I would had walked out without it. Not even a thank you or a you welcome when I wish him a nice day.

Our German shepherd went in fine but had anxiety or something in the kennel. They called within first hour (of 3-4 quoted) to say they could not complete the bath/deshedding process... But we were still charged the full 78.00 for an incomplete job! Came home and brushed her out and got the same huge ball of shredded fur as always. Waste of money. Won't go back.

The Pet Smart in Nags Head, NC is such a gem and everyone that works there is so helpful and kind! Tracy really helped me out today with an exchange of a collar I had already opened and tried on my dog. She had no problem exchanging it for a bigger size despite it already being opened. I appreciate her kindness and it absolutely made my day!! Big shout out to Tracy!!
