This review is for the hotel. I would absolutely never let my dogs stay here again. I cried my whole vacation because I knew when I walked in I made a mistake. There was a Leanne at the front desk that needs to stay in the back. Her customer service skills are horrible. She had a horrible attitude and I thought maybe it was just me but both people I was with commented when we left just how rude she was. I called to check on my dogs and they promised they would send pictures and I never got one. They left my dog in his “private suite” which was literally just a concrete box the whole time. They said he didn’t want to come out. What did I pay for? I would have rather them called an emergency contact I left to pick him up. Get this, I requested both of my dogs to stay together. Leanne said no

Don’t do curb side pick up here. Nobody answers the phone. It’s very irritating if you are elderly person, just FYI. Pat is a great trainer at this store. He helped us a lot with our pup. So forever greatful, but the curb side needs work. It’s always the same issue here. At least at Petco Buena Park, they actually do the curbside pick. Just disappointing, and needs work. I’m old, help an old lady out man.

Take our pup here for doggy day care. Everyone knows him by name as he is quite the social butterfly. Staff are great. Manager assisted us months ago when the food we get for him was out, for months. She would let us know when the food was in stock at other locations. Store is clean and grooming services are good. Love the special events they have in doggy daycare and the cute photos of Ollie celebrating!

I left my three dogs at their hotel for a week, and they came back with kennel cough. First time trying this place, and for what they charge, I expected better. I called to let them know, but they didn’t seem too bothered. The rep said it’s airborne, and my dogs could’ve caught it anywhere. Just a heads-up—watch out, I’m not sure they’re keeping things as clean as they should. Already spent $900+ for vet bills.

I used their Doggie hotel service and was highly satisfied. My dog seemed happy when I picked him up and the staff was friendly. I also buy wet food for my dog there from time to time. They have a great selection at a good price. The hotel price is a bit hi but they do offer a Veteran discount which comes in handy.
