PetSmart

I’m still very upset at the experience we had at this location today. I came in to get a sweater for our dog and my 5 year old was looking at all the critters they have through the glass and an employee came pushing a cart towards her, plenty of room to go around her and not need to bother her mind you, yet he stopped very close to her and rudely shouted “EXCUSE ME PLEEEEAAAASE.” In an irritating tone. So she pushed herself completely against the glass so he could get by and he again very rudely said to her “NO I NEED YOU TO MOVE.” There was absolutely no good reason in the world for him to talk to her like that. I was very upset and grabbed her to come by me immediately. We go out places very frequently and we are never treated this way. Clearly this employee is severely lacking in social

We went for a beta fish, we have a rather larger size fish bowl for him. It was like a full on adoption process with the guy telling us he pry wouldn’t survive…sir, 1) I worked at an exotic pet store selling not just fish but reptiles as well. 2) I also have a beta that I’ve had for a year now and he is thriving in the same size tank my sister will be putting hers in. So please let’s not patronize our customers when they have more experience in their pinkie than you have.

I always find what I’m looking for, their customer service is great and the groomers are so sweet! I typically have my doodle bathed there every few weeks and she always leaves happy :)

Here is a picture of my dog after taking him home and grooming him myself. I was told by the groomer at PetSmart in Lincoln today that he was going to have a bald spot on the top of his head because there was a small amount of matting and she would have to shave it bald. He is an Aussie doodle and does get some amount of matting on occasion but because his hair is so soft it is easily brushed out. The groomer let me know if she were to brush out the tangle it would “make him bleed”. I normally groom him myself but wasn’t feeling up to it because it is hot and clippers get hot outside, etc. Anyway I decided I didn’t want him to have a bald spot so I took him home and completed the job. I’m happy to report back he looks adorable with no bald spot and no more matting.

We brought our dog Ellie in to the groomer on Wednesday, August 27th for a bath, nail trim, and haircut. We were told that it would be a approximately three hours and they would call us. In less than two hours we got a call that Ellie was ready. Now we know why. She got the haircut, which isn't cut evenly, and they didn't trim her toenails or give her a bath. Her toenails are still long and sharp and she still smells like a dog that hasn't been bathed in a while.
