PetSmart Grooming

Was my first and last time at grooming. First the employee kiara is the most rude and unhappy person i meet in Ny the last years. I asked her if she like animals because i never saw anyone so stupid in my life. Seriously. She shouldn’t never have contacted with clients in her life again. She charged me double cut to give my dog the worst service possible. She just shaved the dog. I feel afraid for my dog inside. I NEVER BACK AGAIN

Unprofessional , groomer told me “Girl…, I said no later than ..” Should’ve been more like, Unfortunately , we are unable to… Attitude for no reason. Maybe because I am a black girl she thought that was okay, as if we’re familiar. If you were overwhelmed that’s okay, I was squeeze in appointment coming from bedstuy bushwick and the bus was behind, I was late but thinking maybe customer service, tone ..could be improved.

I’ve been experimenting with groomers in Brooklyn and I’ve been to Petsmart before for my dog’s first groom which was nothing special but no issues. I mostly booked because it was the first available place to go, they knew my dog, and she’s desperately needed a shave due to the hot weather. To my surprise, she came back super itchy and I was charged for line items I didn’t approve (like nail grinding even though I cut them 2 days prior for $15 and a brushing charge of $10 although I just wanted her shaved down - they brushed her tail and ears which I could have done at home). They used a shampoo on her that they switched from a hypoallergenic shampoo and didn’t call to ask. I had a 4:45pm appointment. I am writing this at 4:58pm outside their store while setting an appointment for my dog elsewhere. I had called the grooming appointment to let them know I was on my way but was running a little late 15min max (5pm). I was told I am the last appointment and they will not be waiting. I stated I was already on my way and they said they would not wait and they were ready to go..did I hear that correctly? I sure did. That gave me 2 impressions..incompetent workers because they "are ready to go" and Secondly I was already close by so if they could not show me patience what makes me think they will attend to my dog with care & patience. I rather bring my businsess elsewhere as well as make sure I tell others. That alone was enough for me to not bring my business ther

They do an amazing job but hot dang, $300 for a total groom of a dog?! That’s more than my wife’s hair cleaning and dying procedure she gets. Thats wild!
