PetSmart Grooming

I was hesitant to book here because of the reviews, but I’m so glad I did. When I called, Kym was incredibly kind and reassuring and suggested an early appointment so my senior chihuahua wouldn’t be overwhelmed. On the day of the appointment, Kym met me outside to help since I had my dog and my baby. She and Felicity were so gentle and patient with my senior pup, offering to support his weak rear end with a towel and avoid blow-drying if he was scared. It took less than an hour, and they called me right away when he was done so he didn’t have to stay in a crate. Both Kym and Felicity were wonderful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for them if you need grooming!

Felicity did as much as she could. I got the bath and cut for my sweet little girl. It was her first visit, and I received numerous calls because my pup was terrified. I was pretty doubtful after getting the call, but my little girl at least got her body shaved with her head left intact. I’m giving 4 stars more or less for effort, because I ended up having to cut my little pups head myself (the groomer wasn’t able to because my pup was too scared). Although, I will say whatever cologne they put on my pup made her smell like a fruit basket—which was AMAZING. I think petsmart might differ from petco’s grooming service b/c at petco they put little bows in the ears (scarves for male pups) which petsmart did not…unless something’s changed universally for all grooming salons given the economy.

The groomer assigned lied & said my dog had used the bathroom multiple times and was straining mind you he’s been there before & I know my dog isn’t nervous around other dogs. She was backed up on her appointments and didn’t groom my dog. I pick him up & the issue she said he was having was nonexistent. Terrible service !

They don't help if you don't know English.
