Petsense by Tractor Supply

This is a clean, friendly place. It is a small store with a limited variety, but it's also the only pet supply place we could find in this fairly small town of Sullivan, Mo. We were interested in getting a Betta, and fortunately for us, that's the only kind of fish they had there. They had a couple of lizards, but no hamsters, mice, or any other small critters or reptiles. They did seem to be well supplied with food and other items for dogs or cats, and we found the associates to be friendly and helpful. We'll be happy to go there again to shop for our pet supplies.

Everyone is very friendly! The only thing I recommend is to make sure that each service you're doing as apart of your grooming bundles are talked about. I chose the bath and trim. On the bath and trim it has "Gland expression". When I talked to the employee I expressed wanting his nails clipped and a bath. I got special shampoo and wanted a cologne. The bundle I chose was the best fit for all 3 things I wanted plus the added on special shampoo. When they brought him out he smelt of anal gland(which defeated the whole purpose of the bath 🥲) I understand that he needs to see a vet because of that(literally at least i know he needs one). BUT I would of never wanted that done at a groomers. Although I don't feel it's the employees fault I do think each service needs to be talked about before

I really love the store. However, look up prices online compared to what they are in store. The clerk today would rather make up stories about extra shipping cost, etc and tried having me pay an extra $50 for my purchase. He did honor the price, however this concerns me for people who are not educated about this. It would be one thing if it was the policy, but he was just throwing out stories that made no sense as the purchase and pick up at store price was even less. Please don't treat your customers like we are stupid.

Took my puppy for first nail trim. They were so awesome with her on every level. She never stopped wagging her tail even during the clipping. She made some friends, got her picture taken, and will be back in a month for trimmings and her rabies shot. Wish I had gotten names but it's obvious everyone there loves animals and treats them great. As someone on a tight budget I will say some treats etc are a tad pricey but they have enough healthy options you can also find something you can afford as well. 10/10

I just love the store, the groomers!! Madison is always so friendly and answers all my questions. I always feel like they go over and beyond for their clients no matter how many or how little legs they have!
