Manager is real sketchy I got a rat from them he was sick straight from there had him less then a week and he was peeing blood called them said they’d swap him out for another rat the replacement rat is just fine but I called up same day to check on the sick rat and said the manager would be in the next day to check him out told me that they could have the manager call me when she’s in well she’s calls me real rude lady told me he was doing better told her I’d take him back if he fully stopped bleeding sense I knew what happened with him well fast forward to the day she’s back in today, Wednesday said he’s ready to come back she started questioning me about when I had him made it seem like it was my fault that he got sick, when he was showing signs of being sick I am I first time rat owner

I absolutely love this place! I buy my dog food from here and everything about this place is great. Cathy is the staff member who usually helps me find what I need and it’s always a pleasure. She’s always helpful & happy to service me. Gives great advice for my two pitties and what food they should have. We’ve been switching it up monthly to find what they both like and so far, so good! I’ll be a customer for ever!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I recently visited Pets and things with the intention of adopting a rabbit. I had done my research, came prepared, and met all the listed requirements: appropriate habitat, food, etc. (I currently have a rabbit and was looking to find her a companion). I already have a habitat set up in which my bunny gets free roam in a huge area with plenty of space. Despite this, I was refused the adoption/sale with no clear reason. (Every excuse they gave; I have met with a rebuttal). They ask if I have a cage for the new rabbit that will be big enough for her and I explained that I have an extra large dog cage that I used for my rabbit before. Been owning rats for a handful of years now and I’ve never had a pet store be so cautious with their selling of them! They wanted to see a picture of my set up, ensure I was gonna feed them the right diet, etc. I was so genuinely impressed lol given the things I’ve seen in pet stores in the past. My partner and I got two little girls to liven up our other two (older sister passed a month ago) and so far with careful introductions, everything’s been perfect! Their temperament is just great for being so young as well. They don’t hassle their older sisters or bother them too bad (save for the normal social behaviors for their ages), the older ladies love them!
