Pets Come First

This shelter intentionally withheld information purposely. They had misanswered questions, and then when our cat has behaviorally. Lady claims i “dont know for certain” she is anxious, however such a claim is attempt to deny her own knowledge. She even told me “just let her out to deal with the other cats”. I CANT. My cat has CHARGED at her and major swatted. She claims “they cant kill eachother” which is DEEPLY false especially regarding what many car behavioralists would state is wrong I was told she was once returned due to not being nice with others which is a irce pf information NOT diclosed. On top of that, they listed $55 as the adoption fee and over charged $82? This shelter literally will say “call if issues arrive” and then YELL at you first until you feel you need to be mean o

The staff are very nice, a good selection of pets who need adopted. I’ve adopted there two times. They really care about the pet getting a new home. They make it easy to qualify to adopt. I’ve recommend Pets Come First for years. I would adopt every animal if I could, just to show them the loving home they all deserve. Just remember the pet you see in a humane society/rescue is not the personality of that animal. The true personality comes out when they are relaxed, loved, most of all feel safe with full bellies. It takes time, some takes days, weeks some even months.

One of the few rescues kind enough to work with me to find kittens who unexpectedly came into my possession homes. It means a lot when rescue staff approaches people with kindness, despite being so overwhelmed. Highly recommend!
