I’m so grateful to have found this practice for my new Golden Retriever puppy. Dr. Gabrielle Bruno is kind, compassionate, and highly professional, and I left feeling completely confident that my pup is in excellent hands. The office is sparkling clean and beautifully renovated, and every staff member we met was attentive and patient. A truly wonderful experience — highly recommend!

Our 15 year old dog Bruno was having some unexpected issues and we brought him in on an emergency case and saw Dr. Holgate. She diagnosed him quickly and unfortunately had to inform us of some very serious medical news. We went home to discuss our not so great options and, over the next couple of days, Bruno took a quick and horrible turn for the worse. We returned to the facility at 2:00am on 12/8 where it was decided he was to be put to rest. She made the experience informed, calm, peaceful, and dignified. Her bedside manner, as well as her fine staff, were exceptional. For such a terrible series of events, they couldn’t have handled it any better or in a more respectful way in my opinion. I highly recommend them. Thank you again to Dr Holgate and her staff.

Just got back from taking my dog in as an emergency visit, nicest people ever, made us and my dog feel so comfortable, we were in and out super quick and I could not be more grateful. They got my baby feeling better right away! Thank you so much!!

Started going here for my new puppy about 2 months now. The vet is actually really good (reasons for 2 stars and not 1). The after care service left much to be desired. There were 3 (yes 3) instances of failure to provide enough medication for him. In addition, there was one instance where they gave me a blank pill pack instead of the actual pill. After the first two times of the insufficient medication, I pointed this out to the staff and was assured that they put in extra medication for the 3rd time, yet it was still short. I called and asked to speak to the office manager about my experience and she wasn't in, but I left a voicemail for her and she never returned my call. Brought our 13 year old dog Basil in because she had a seizure. They were just wonderful. They did some initial testing. It showed very high elevated numbers in her blood work for her liver which needed further testing which their facility didn't have the capacity to conduct. They guided us to the next step which was the Long Island Veterinary hospital in Plainview. They were both knowledgeable and compassionate and I highly recommend. I highly recommend this local urgent care.
