Fantastic local store. The cat litter I buy used to sell direct to consumers from their website. When they stopped, I wanted to see if I could get it from a local store instead of one of the big guys (Chewy, Petco, etc), and that's how I found PetMAC! The team running the store is super friendly and welcoming. It's a treat to go pick up my orders every time.

Good Prices and great discounts for members. I always buy the super Long BullySticks! Perfect for a large dog. But I must warn you it's a small shop with just enough room to turn around. Also its is kinda hidden in the cut so you have to make sure you look out for the bright green building on Connecticut Ave. Parking sucks on the street but it's ok as long as you don't linger in the store. Get in and get out or risk a ticket. They don't play around!

Best pet store in DC. They love their job and their customers, both four-legged and two-legged. I love coming here and the prices are really decent for pet owners. The owner, Jan, is amazing.

Janice and the rest of the folks over at PetMac are unfailingly polite and helpful. Special orders are never a problem and their existing selection is really wide and varied. We've been happy customers for many years and appreciate having such a valuable and local resource right at our neighborhood's doorstep.

YOU NEED TO VISIT THIS STORE!!! I walked out of the store a confident and changed cat mom! I have sent hours and hours researching healthier options for my cats diet, which has been an exhausting and daunting task. After all of that work, my vet diminished my opinion and recommended food for my cat that I felt uncomfortable with, but what do I know...Im not a vet, just a dedicated cat mom. When visiting PetMac I mustered the courage to ask Janice about the food I was giving my kitten and what I could do to transition him to healthier food. To my surprise, Janice spent the next 20 minutes walking me through her entire selection. She asked in depth questions to ensure his preferences were taken into account and referenced several studies while explaining her opinions of the ingredients. In
