Petland Janesville

We had such a great experience at Petland! They helped us find our loving Husky, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff was kind, patient, and really took the time to answer all of our questions. Abel was especially amazing — he went above and beyond to help me get the microchip ID number I needed and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. You can tell he truly cares about the animals and the families they go home with. We’re so grateful for the support and would absolutely recommend Petland to anyone looking to add a furry family member! 🐾💙

Personally everything in the store is over priced and the animals aren't under any rightful care. I've bought a few animals from them before, usally as a last ditch attempt for pets with no where else having what I was looking for, and they all died within a week, this includes rats and fish. I purchase them anywhere else and they live out their life to there fullest years. I feel alot of their animals are sent out too young or sick. Being said, their dog department is gross. Its filled with puppy mills dogs that drink from rabbit water bottles and are all sick and rampant with diarrea.

I posted a review critical of the $3900 plus taxes and fees about cost of an Aussiepoo, they decided to attack my honest assessment of their business practices and price gouging by insinuating that I couldn’t afford the dog. Also telling me that I was a habitual complainer due to a few honest reviews (they ignored the positive ones) from my travels around the country. These guys are some of the worst business people I’ve ever encountered. When someone tells you who they are, take them at their word.

Store is clean every time I go to look at pups (who always seem to be happy and playful). The team there is always welcoming and accommodating to any questions or needs I may have. This is my go to place when my hounds need anything.

If I could give Sam at Petland in Janesville 10 stars, I would! She is an absolute gem, and thanks to her, my daughter and I found the newest (and fluffiest!) member of our family – our golden retriever puppy, Leonidas, or Leo for short. From the moment we walked into Petland, Sam welcomed us with such warmth and genuine enthusiasm, like she was just as excited as we were about our puppy journey.
