Petersburg Veterinary Clinic

Was after hours ( 4-7am on a Saturday) for an emergency C-section for our frenchie furbaby. They were so kind and professional. Knowledgeable and kept us updated through out the procedure. Highly recommend them. We had 1 puppy survive and sadly 1 didn't make it do to not being able to get to them quick enough and the 1 puppy was stuck in the canal. Grateful we didn't lose both.

We got home about 5 PM and notice blood coming from our dog's rear end, scared us to death called the vet in Petersburg, they said bring him up, we were so kind to take us at that hour of the day. And it turned out to be some kind of a growth that had popped, and that's where the blood was coming from this little guy who we rescued 6 years ago is like our son, and we were so thankful to GET to care An expertise from this vet clinic, we just can't thank you enough doctors and assistants for your help. Also, the after hours visit plus the medicine. Where's only $258 that was very reasonable because we didn't get there until after 6, we live in Springfield, and again, thank you for helping our boy. Above and beyond without these guys we would of last of dog and her puppies we had an emergency c section showed up at midnight of course called before and immediately was met with compassion and respect they went above and beyond and tonight I was able to take all 7 babies and momma thank you so much

Couple weeks ago I asked for vet recs and soooo many people said Petersburg, THANK YOU. Roach my 9 month old female got spayed today. They gave her a cone and sent her home with 3 days of pain meds. NEVER been to a vet that does that. And there was a whole consultation when I picked her up. Told me how the surgery went, explained the medication, gave me after care instructions, and answered all my questions with true empathy. God I love the Petersburg vet. I feel like a bad pet parent for not taking my animals there sooner.

The best vet clinic we’ve been to! The staff are always so kind! We took both of our cats there. My sweet Cece developed some sort of allergy & would not stop scratching her face :( They worked with us for months and were willing to exhaust all options to see if anything would help with her scratching. When we had to euthanize her, they were so caring and compassionate throughout the experience. Made such a hard time a bit easier 🥹 A short while after, we got a letter in the mail & they included her paw print on it! 🤍 Overall, such an amazing place with wonderful staff! Absolutely recommend this vet clinic.
