I absolutely love this location. I stop in every week for crickets and supplies, and the staff is always welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. Over time, I’ve gotten to know a few of them, and they truly make this my go-to store. In the Austin area, this is hands down the location I recommend most. They have an excellent selection of exotic animals, and the team is incredibly knowledgeable and transparent about care, never rushing a sale and always making sure you understand what you’re taking home. It’s clear the animals are well looked after and genuinely cared for. If you’re in Austin and looking for a place you can trust for supplies, animals, and honest guidance, this is the store to go to.

It took me 35 minutes to get to the store to buy this canister I saw on clearance a week ago. It has four tags on display, but they say they don't have it. Are they trying to keep a clearance item, or is it just a staff oversight? I don't know. An hour's trip there and back for nothing, and even after they told me they didn't have it, the tag is still on.

Great service at the sunset vally location. But all my fish died within the first 2 days. They said there was nothing wrong with my tank.

Recently took my dog Gigabyte in for a trim and the stylist did an INCREDIBLE job. Tidy paws, even-cut fluff without choppy, blocky bits, and overall just a happy dog to boot. Loved my experience!

Plenty of options, more sales and clearance than PetSmart, but limited return policy. Salt water and fresh water fish available. Feeder mice available. Ferrets and jumping spiders sometimes available. The morning cashier seems to be impatient and clearly dislikes being upfront (valid.) If the registers aren't open sometimes you can check out with the vet office.
