I will never be coming back. In the betta fish area, 1 of the containers had green water in it because the fish was so dead it was literally breaking apart and decaying it was disgusting and heartbreaking. (No I didn’t take a photo didn’t have the heart too.) Besdies most if not all of the bettas in the cups couldn’t even swim and were just in horrible conditions. Then in all the other fish tanks most if not all of them had 2-6 dead fish in each of them that were just literally rotting away. Most of the live plants were dead. It was heartbreaking and inhumane to see how these animals were being treated. Do better for the animals. Absolutely disgusting.

This particular store is awesome! Everyone is so nice and friendly and very helpful! I definitely would not recommend the grooming salon! I used petco grooming salon for many years previously.... They are extremely overpriced, and several years ago they refused to service my dogs For reasons they would not disclose. I have found several locally owned salons with much more affordable pricing and extremely friendly And wonderful to my dogs

Tonight I came into the store to buy cat litter, carried a 40lb to the front counter, charged an amount that did not reflect the sign hanging up. When I walked to the back to show Silvy, the loud and rude manager, the sign hanging above the product does not match they did not care. At the register, with other customers standing there she yells " well if you were not so snotty I would price match, but I won't now". If there are cameras check the footage at the register 10 minutes prior to my writing this review for the Lincoln Way Sparks, Nevada branch. She said I was not welcome there. Unprofessional and not concerned with their mess up. Please see the picture attached, sale sign reads 30 lbs and both products underneath it are 40 lbs. Apparently SHE set it up on the end cap.

I went into Petco in Sparks at approximately 6:35pm on a Monday night and simply asked if I would be able to get the heart guard chewy for my puppy, that can also be used to treat roundworm, etc. I’ve always gotten this for my previous dog, but through the pop up vet. However, I had called prior to walking in to see if I would just be able to simply walk into the store and get it and I was told yes, just ask one of the workers, so I thought perfect I don’t have to make an appointment to get this chewy for my dog. Once again, when I walked in on Monday night, I did what the worker over the phone told me to do and asked if they’d be able to get me the heart guard chewy. This was our first time taking our dog to the Petco in Sparks, and it was a total disappointment. I showed a clear picture of the haircut we wanted, and what we got was nothing like it. Our dog is a Shih Tzu, and now he looks more like a Chihuahua. The cut was way too short and looked terrible — completely different from what we asked for. After spending so many hours there, we expected quality, but honestly, I could’ve done a better job myself. We usually go to the Petco on Northtowne Lane, and they always leave our dog looking beautiful. Paying $88.94 for this experience was unacceptable. We’re never coming back. I’m attaching the reference photo I showed to the groomer so you can see the huge difference.
