Brought our big pups in for grooming and they both came out great. Maddie, the grooming attendant, is super friendly and listens to all of your needs. Yetta at the front is also super sweet and helpful. Great store all around. - Oliver & Apollo
This is the best petco I’ve been too yet. Staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and friendly. They always make you and your pet feel welcome. They’re super helpful with anything and everything you need! My dog LOVES going here and leaps into the truck to go! Kudos to the staff and management for creating such an amazing environment and store. The store is well organized, clean and always stocked with what I need.
The manager and employee working were both kind and super helpful! I had to make a return because my cats didn’t like the wet food I chose & they were able to give me a store credit! The store was busy but they quickly got the lines cleared and the customer service was outstanding. You dont get that often anymore. This will be the only pace I shop for my pets. A+ team.
Have brought my dog here a couple times to be groomed with no issue. This time, they don't want to groom he as I let her coat grow out and now they are saying she's too natted and wouldn't be able to shave her close. I have brought her to the Petco in Middletown in the same condition with no issue. I normally do not write negative reviews because I always believe things can be worked out but I can't help but wonder if they just don't want to groom her. If that is the case just say so because there are plenty of other places around that will take her. Your mileage may vary and so may your experience but for me I'm going to pass on any future business here.
I had a very frustrating experience at Petco today while trying to purchase a couple of guppies. During a normal conversation with the employee, I mentioned that one of my fish had died about a month ago. Because of that single comment, they refused to sell me any fish unless I brought back a water sample — despite the fact that I clearly stated I regularly test my water. I care deeply about my tank and would never intentionally put an animal in danger. What made this even more upsetting was that there were multiple dead fish-belly up in Petco’s own tanks at the time. It felt extremely hypocritical to be judged and denied a purchase for something that can naturally happen in fishkeeping, while their own tanks showed obvious issues. & they were deeming my tank to “not be safe”. I love ani
