Petco

Petco in the Pocket area is not very big compared to most Petco stores in the Sacramento area. I think this one was a Petco Express before. It carries less stuff than the other Petco, but the good thing is I can still find what I'm looking for. The employees are friendly. The parking lot is very busy in the section in front of the store, but this parking lot itself is huge, with many available spots for a short walk.

Excellent selection, it's so much fun to browse. Staff are polite and friendly. It's well organized, clean, and bright. My kids and I had a blast picking out toys and supplies for our new dog.

I went to buy my dog some food and this one worker, I think her name was Eden was so great! She treated me with so much respect and totally made me feel invited, while being knowledgeable about what type of foods I should feed my precious doggie. She does dog training too and I would 100% trust her with my doggies! Overall amazing experience. Kind of small tho.

My husband and I had an excellent experience with Petco Dog Trainer Natalie at the 1006 Florin Rd Petco Location in Sacramento!! We just adopted a 5-month-old rescue pup named Max. Max is a sweet, but very energetic German shepherd and pittie mix. We were worried Max might be too excited to be successful with group training, so Natalie suggested 6-week private lessons so he could get familiar with the process and get a foundation in the basics. This turned out to be the best decision! Natalie had her work cut out for her with our rascal, but she handled Max brilliantly. It was eye opening to see that our squirrelly puppy is not only trainable but made fantastic strides!
