Petco

Yesterday was our first time to the store. The employee who helped us was named Jesus. He went above and beyond. He was helpful, knowledgeable & so patient as we decided on a pet for our daughter. He helped us put together a great starter kit of essentials & was just genuinely a nice guy. 10/10 service. Give him a raise!

First time at this Petco and I am quite pleased with it. I went in to buy a new tank and some shrimp for an already established tank, they had a good sale on tanks for members and when i asked for the shrimp the associate asked how old I was and if I had an established tank, which is amazing! This showed me that they truly do care about their animals. The only downside is that there wasn’t many employees around the store and I had to wait in line at the register to ask for help. Would come again 👍

Do not then rope you into the vital care premiere program unless you actually need it and want to have it for atleast 12 months. The manager at the store signed me up saying I would get a discount on my purchase and I was weary of doing so, so I asked if I can cancel at anytime, he told me yes. I just called headquarters to cancel and they tell me I am locked in for 12 months . Nothing they can do to stop it before 12 months. Some stores are ok product wise, fish tanks have a bunch of dead fish and disease ridden fish. If you’re going to buy fish, make sure you are going to quarantine then first and have medication on hand. All the cichlids had ich last time I was there. Who knows what kind of internal parasites they have.

Again I must say this store provides the best customer service and help in location of specific items. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service! Awesome customer service at this Petco! They had everything I needed in stock for small animals and dogs - and they were extremely kind and helpful - they were able to hold items for me until I could get there.

Great place for pet needs: clean, organized, great choices, and happy with the variety of products available. Staff were keen to help and very friendly.
