This weekend I went in to get my bearded dragons crickets, worms and hornworms.... I enjoy looking at every animal there. I know the bird ozzy by name. I play with the solo ferret. (Whom might I add had a completely disgusting water dish at 830 am..... And then I make my way to the reptiles. Not only is a beautiful tortoise on his side STRUGGLING TO roll over.... But I saw a dead baby bearded dragon. Who haD NO EYEBALLS. Lord knows how long that innocent baby was there. After reaching out to a very kind and compassionate gentleman who helped both the tortoise and removed the deceased baby bearded dragon. I got the cutest festive toys for my dad's cat's (Tony's) birthday! This paired a teeny troft of cat grass for the 'cake' was perfect! Just remember the quote about pets "they may only be a part of your life, but for them, you're their whole life" so even a little gift of celebration for them can mean the world.
I'm very disgusted that they've had a black capped conure there for 5 months and his/her health has declined in that time. They're asking $900+ for it. The conure was very healthy looking when first arrived and 5months later it is very obvious it is stressed out. The poor thing is shredding and plucking it's feathers, from being isolated and boredom. I asked if they would consider lowering the price so it would find a home sooner, and I suggested to take 40% off and I'd buy him.They practically laughed at me for even suggestion it and said it's only been here 5months! I think it's abusive to allow an animal to deteriorate in order to get top dollar.
Always great service, and products. Except, the free tennis balls they gave away. Would if benn healthier for our dogs, if you just threw away, these expired, brittle balls. My dog playing with one crushed it, the rubber inside was brittle and cracked into pieces. Had to get the pieces, before he swallowed them.
Great store that provides a variety of items including classes for your puppies!!
