I am extremely appalled at the treatment I received as a customer at the Lake Zurich Petco this evening. I had gone in to purchase Prescription dog food for my senior dog who is battling cancer and multiple autoimmune conditions. Obviously prescription food is a critical piece to her medical care. When I went to check out, Carey, the Ops Manager (what he called himself), pulled up my dog's prescription and met me immediately with hostility. My dog's Internist Vet had provided us with a prescription that stated unlimited refills as her conditions are chronic and will require prescription food for the remainder of her life. Carey aggressively scolded me in front of everyone at the check out telling me, "THIS PRESCRIPTION COULD NOT BE WRITTEN THIS WAY! IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN TAKEN IN

Great place to get amazing products at wonderful prices for all kinds of pets. Friendly and knowledgeable customer service. Veterinary and grooming services available. Plenty of parking. Lots of stores nearby.

I tried to use the grooming service after being a customer for years. We just used it 2 weeks ago. I called to make an appt and was told they don’t have our records. Then just hung up the phone after being on hold for 20 minutes. . I have NEVER experienced this type of customer service . I will never be going back.

Online order was ready very quickly but needed a price adjustment as I couldn't get my manufacturer coupon for $10.00 to go through. The store manager was a bit condescending and didn't appreciate his demeaning attitude on a Sunday morning, but the inventroy specialist Cary stepped in and took over and he's a real nice PLEASANT dude so all went well. Got a great price on an expensive 30lb bag of Royal Canin Adult Golden Retriever Dog Food, so I was happy but, that manager was a total BUZZKILL and I prefer to stick to Palatine where they are a nicer crew!
