Petco

I stopped by for some hardscape and supplies for my aquarium. Disgustingly, almost every fish tank had many, MANY dead and decaying fish. They have been in these tanks (almost all of them) for so long they had begun “melting” and were being eaten by the other fish. The guppies, in particular, were all either dying or already dead. I was only able to take a picture of the goldfish. The “fish balls” are the dead bodies being stuck to the filters.

The team was so kind and patient with my boy. He’s big but afraid of his own shadow and even more so of new people. They explained everything very thoroughly and not once did I feel rushed. Dr Feder is amazing. Thank you all for taking such good care of him. Thunder said sorry about not so little mess he made. Y’all truly are the best!

We recently completed the Fundamental and Advanced dog training courses with Austin at Petco, and the results have been fantastic. We initially enrolled to help our beagle learn basic commands and get some much-needed socialization with other dogs. Austin exceeded all our expectations! I had an extremely disappointing experience with the grooming department at Petco. First, they called me with a sense of urgency, making it seem like there was a serious issue with my dog because he was “barking too much.” Naturally, I rushed over, concerned about what was going on. When I arrived, instead of handling the situation professionally, I was told — very rudely — to stand about 30 feet away from the counter. There was no courtesy, no calm explanation, just attitude. To make matters worse, at the end of it all, I was told that I can’t bring my dog on weekdays anymore because he barks. He’s a dog. Barking is normal behavior, especially in a stressful grooming environment. If your staff cannot handle normal dog behavior, that’s a training and management issue — not a customer issue

Kiley in the fish department is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would suggest for all in aquatics new and old visit this store as they have some really nice fish and great people working at this location. I personally have 3 Petco stores closer to me but choose to visit this one for the help and fish species available.
