Petco

I needed a refill on my Shih Tzu’s flea medication. This may seem like a relatively simple thing to do, but in today’s world with veterinarians prescribing one thing and over-the-counter medication‘s promoting another. It’s good to get a little personal advice. I called Petco to ask if they had a certain medication and a young lady named Jessica gave me not only the names of what they carried, but the qualities of each of the brands. She took that extra minute to take my questions and the health and welfare of my pet into her full consideration. I made the trip across town to Petco. I bought the flea medication that she recommended and I also bought shampoo and I know that I will return many times in the future to buy more pet supplies. We go here mainly to let Melody groom our bulldogs. They are so amazing with them and do a great job. We can tell they take good care of them while they are there because the dogs are always so excited when we get there and they know exactly where to go without any hesitation. They have such a selection of items (not always the cheapest) and we can usually find what we need there. Everyone is nice to talk to in our experience.

Online shopping was easy, was ready for pickup super fast, and the sales person was very upbeat. I had to swap the product out the next day because I picked the wrong item (my fault, not theirs) The whole swap was quick, easy, and very friendly. I was back out in 5 mins.

I love it here and the staff are awesome!! I adopted some piggies from here a week ago or so, one is very spiratic and the other is very calm. Very distinct personalities! The small animals love the staff as well and all the enclosures are very clean. Especially the fish tanks, and those are hard to keep up with!! I do wish there was a larger selection of goods for small pets. But that's all I can think of that's missing!! (edit: typo!)

I'm looking for a new vet and was checking the reviews to see if I might bring my fur baby here. There's not a snowballs chance in hell I'll even go in here. I go in and see animal in those conditions there would be hell to pay. I can't believe this company has left this store open abusing and neglecting their animals the way they are. These people should be arrested for the way their treating these animals. Their no better then most animal horders. If you can't take care of the animals and the customers then you close the store COMPLETELY until all the cages and tanks are clean correctly and they all have proper food and water. Then it should be done EVERY DAY before the store opens and tidied up before leaving at night. Morning shift cleans up the animals, night shift cleans the store. A
