Petco Grooming

Abbi at Wadsworth cut into my dogs quick while trimming nails. She did not tell me. An hour later it was still bleeding when I found it. She should have (1) told me and apologized. (2) showed me how to care for it and what to expect. (3) offered some of the powder that stops bleeding to take with me. (4) discounted my groom by the price of a nail trim ($12). Since she just sent me on my way without any idea what happened, I cannot recommend her. UPDATE: Don't ask me to call into the store for a resolution. I shouldn't have to plea & defend my case to a store that should have treated me right the first time. You have my info in the system, feel free to email me. In the meantime, I contacted corporate customer service.

Just came in for my two dogs grooming appointments. We’ve been going here with both of them for several years. They denied us service after both dogs had just been there about two months ago. Suddenly they’re aware that one of them is on anxiety medication that has been listed in his chart for years. If this was a problem why was I not informed when the appointment was made? They have always gotten good report cards after grooming so it isn’t really adding up to me. They were even under the grooming membership. Sucks that I wasted my time and I won’t be supporting the store in any form anymore because of this. If your dog has any sort of quirk or on normal medications (that they have on file already and should have known) they’ll send you away!

Murphy looks and smells great every time. He's an emotionally high maintenance boy (Goldie) and they take great care of his specific needs there and he comes out looking great and feeling soft.

If you’re looking for a new groomer - Alyssa at Petco in Wadsworth is top notch! She is amazing with my furbabies. She treats them like they are her own. My one dog is a former puppy mill dog and Alyssa understands her needs and sets up her groom around my babies insecurities. She is an extension of our family. I don’t know what I would do if she left…we would be heartbroken!

We have always had great Service very nice but when it comes to saying and showing what you want your dogs hair cut to look like we always get a bad one and now that we are paying $141 we will be fining a new place I just can’t pay that much when I don’t like how they cut her and if they can’t listen, then I will just have to take my business elsewhere
