Petco

Yesterday I visited the PetSmart located in the shopping center off Skybo Road next to DSW on Skybo Road in Fayetteville, NC because I was hoping to adopt an emotional support pet through the store’s adoption program. I am a long-time pet owner, a mother, and an anime fan. I moved here from Oakland, California, and much of my journey relocating to Fayetteville has been about alignment and building a stable life. When I walked into the store, I immediately noticed a cat currently up for adoption named Inosuke (INOSUKE)—a pivotal character from the anime series Demon Slayer. When I saw the cat’s temperament and appearance, I immediately felt a connection. I was directed to speak with an older woman who a store associate told me oversees the adoption program. My local store where I typically shop at least once a week is fabulous. We have 3 pets, a dog & 2 cats. Petco has a great selection of high quality pet foods to select from plus I'm able to get meds, bath supplies, etc. at one location. They have great sales items occasionally too. My Capital One credit card gives me 8% cash back at this store as well. We are very happy customers!

Petco did an exceptional job grooming our dog for the start of 2026. This was our first time taking him there, but we will definitely return. Thanks for your professionalism and patience with our pooch!

I wrote a review 4 year ago praising this place (had to delete the old review to update with the new one) and to this day they still have my praises. I went to Petco 3 months ago to set up a fish tank and I would have to say I’ve been back at least 30 times between buying more supplies, having them check my water, asking questions, and even adding new tanks. Every single time I've come in they do not hesitate to help assist me. I would like to shout out to the employees that have gone above and beyond no matter how many times they have dealt with me. Jewell, Tyese, Jerry, Destiny, and Tavares thank you for caring for your customers and especially the animals. This Petco is awesome! I have 3 cats and a bearded dragon. I can find everything I need. They have flea treatments at a great price, any specialty food you might need, and assortment of toys and stuff for dogs, cats, birds, lizards, whatever you have. I also got one of my cats from there about a year ago. Definitely my best purchase. She was loved by all of the workers and they are all amazing with animals. They really care about what they do.
