Petco

A groomer named Bug groomed my dog Cooper today and I have never had anyone be as nice and as thorough as she was. His nails look beautiful! I have never had anyone do his nails as good as she did. He is not an easy dog to trim his nails. Thank you so much Bug! We are so glad you're at Petco in Elizabeth City

Awesome staff. Very helpful and nice. Squeaky clean floor. Great variety. There always seems to be a deal on what I'm looking for. And I love their fish. They have a great clean selection. I usually don't post reviews but this deserved a few minutes of my feedback

We have been going to this Petco in Elizabeth City for a few months and absolutely LOVE it. The people who work there are the best. The manager and cashier always remember our names and what we shop for. It's like a family. I highly recommend it!!!!!

I was in this store January 17th, 2026 around 12pm IF YOUR DOG WAS GETTING GROOMED THEY WERE YELLING AT HIM TO SHUT UP HE WAS CRYING SO LOUD AND CLEARLY WAS SCARED AND THEY WERE DOING NOTHING TO HELP HIM. I said something to the girl upfront and she said he’s just a baby. I told her exactly how I felt and will never ever be going to any of your stores and this was no way to treat a pet… They don’t care don’t go there learn how to groom your own dog you only have them in your lives a short time and this little guy will never be the same. I wish I had done more for him and my heart breaks for him and the family needs to know..

I went in to get some crickets on May 3rd. When me and my mother are there we always check out the lizards, so when we went over there we saw this guy. I obviously was very concerned. I asked the manager Shannon to check on him because I thought he was dead. When she came over she said he was just "fine" and had him out that morning. When if you just look at him you can absolutely tell he was not fine. This poor baby is severely malnourished. I find it shocking that she thought he was fine and can't believe Petco would have a manager there that would think this lizard is just fine. I have had no problems with any other employees, just her. She needs to be fired.
