Petco

So at the Butte store there is this sales associate named Robert. I have been in on 2 different occasions now and both times Robert has helped me. He is always very knowledgeable, very friendly and seems like he loves his job. In a time were most days you feel like customer service is almost dead, you meet someone like Robert and gives it hope. Good job Petco, you found one in million with R.

Terrible store. Employees would rather stand around and gossip or be on their phones than help. Crickets were all dead, and there was a limited supply of other insects for lizards (most were also dead). There were carts and cleaning supplies in many of the isles, blocking the way- but not being used. Foul "death" smell down the isles. Unfortunate.

Over the last few months it seems like the store is getting worse. I have had the worst time feeding my lizards and dart frogs because they can't get enough food in. Lately they have had to put limits on how many crickets any person can get. Today was the worst it has ever been! Their were no bugs for anything, the only thing they had were earthworms and they were mostly dead.( I am able to get earthworms much better elsewhere.)They should really be getting bigger orders of crickets and other bugs in and they refuse to do so and im not sure why, especially since they have a high demand to get bugs in. I know they only have one bin for each size of crickets but, they should seriously consider making 2 of each bin and keep it in back for when they run out. If things don't change and they kee

This place is becoming more and more of a joke. Not sure if there is new management or not but I have been going to this place for over ten years. Over the past 6 months most of the times when I go there the shelves are empty and the tanks are empty as well or on quarantine. Today when going there once again (which I am from out of town) it was 6:45 and I wanted some fish. I asked for help and the dude just standing at the counter playing on some phone thingy said the fish thing was closed. I thought he was joking at first and I said wait what. He said we are closing at 7pm and we don’t do anything animals wise at this time. I was like you close at 7pm he said yes. Love the courteous and helpful employees. I am disappointed in the fact that they have a lot of trouble having the things I need which is both the fault of the employees. There a supplies that are needed on a weekly basis and they always seem to be out
