great customer service and we always leave with new toys and much more for our girl . She just had her 1st birthday and got toys, snacks , puppy ice cream and much more . She is a happy little girl.

I am very confused and upset about taking my Japanese Chin ,a very small, dog to PETCO in Bismarck for grooming. The person that checked her in was very friendly at first. Told us it would be 2-3 hrs she wanted to take her time because she is older (18 yrs.) . And didn’t want to stress her out. Which we thought was very thoughtful. A little over 2hrs later get a text she is ready. When I went to pick her up I was told she was afraid of the water sprayer and the dryer and never to bring her back again. And that corporate doesn’t like them to spend that much time on a dog. WHAT??? Whole different atmosphere than what we started with. I have given her baths in sink with no problem. Not sure if should be concerned about how she was treated. Not sure if corporate really to blame. Don’t know if

Very nice store, and it seems they care a lot about the animals there. Some fish were out of stock due to changes in the city water, and this store was responsible enough to wait until conditions became more stable before getting more. Hamsters and birds are in pretty small cages, and I always wish they could do better about that. They were clean and well-fed, though. There's a good selection of products here, and the cashier was friendly.

I’ve been shopping at Petco for the past two years, primarily for fish and aquarium supplies. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the care of the fish and the maintenance of the tanks at my local store. The conditions have become unacceptable—something I never expected from a place I trusted for my pets’ well-being. Tonight was the final straw. I won’t be spending another dollar here. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a place I once supported fall so far. At this point, I wish I could get every dollar I’ve spent here back. CLOSE THE DOORS!

Came here to pick up fish that were on hold for me....no thanks, more than 5 tanks with dead fish.... something is in the water, and no one is taking care of these fish. 1 tank, the poor fish are riddled with cloudy eye, and many other tanks have sick fish, but I didn't bother to take any more pictures. Petco, get your employees on track with the job duties in taking care of these fish. You can just tell many of these tanks need serious and extreme maintenance. The fish are breathing so hard in a lot of these tanks. I bet the ammonia is thru the roof on top of everything else going on. Hope those of you who bought fish the last couple of days are quarantining your fish before you put them in your main tank.
