Pet Wants Roanoke

Such a great find! They were so welcoming and helpful with the questions I had about making homemade dog food! Also, showed we a great allergy test kit for my dog who's struggling with allergies! I was there as a vendor taking part in a Pop Up event four Pixel Paws Pet Portraits! I took some pictures during the event, that you can see here! Pet Wants is hands-down the best place in town for fresh, healthy dog food. You can tell right away that everything is made with quality and care, nothing like the mass-produced kibble you find at big box stores. The fact that it’s local and freshly made makes a huge difference, and my pup absolutely loves it. What also sets this place apart is the owner, Charlie. He takes the time to really understand your pet’s needs, their diet history, allergies, energy level, all of it. It’s rare to find someone who cares that much and is willing to walk you through options instead of just selling you a bag of food. If you want healthier, fresher options for your pets and want to support a locally owned business that genuinely cares, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for great quality treats, food, or toys! They have buffalo treats and yak chesse (yellow bar in photo) as well as the normal treat options! Cora and Charlie were so kind and explained everything to me about what treats would be best for my dogs. I have one large a medium and small and they answered all my questions about the treats for them. Can't wait to see how my dogs like their new snacks! Will definitely be back.

You have to check out the store! If you love your animal, this is the place you need to shop! Charlie is awesome very knowledgeable helpful and it really made me feel like I was doing good by my cats. I highly recommend you stop by and check it out for all your pets needs. It is AWESOME!

What a pleasant surprise when I went to Pet Wants on 12/4. Charlie was so knowledgeable and helpful with the many questions I posed to him. Everything in the store is top quality and he addressed my concerns with the dog food I have been feeding my dog. I will definitely go back for all my dog needs. I am so glad that both he and his wife selected TC to open their business in our Town.
