Pet Wants Blue Ash

The only food that’s ok for my Vizsla pups sensitive stomach. My usual location is Loveland and I love the super friendly, super knowledgeable staff there. But I just drove down to the Blue Ash location to find it closed. Current hours are listed on doors of all locations but since I don’t regularly come to this location I didn’t know. So good idea to call the store before you go!

I usually have a hard time finding a good groomer, but I came across Pet Wants Blue Ash and I’m so glad I did! I took my 75 lb doodle mix, Bear, there for the first time and we had such a great experience. Our groomer, Lyra, did an amazing job, Bear looks fantastic. The man at the front was so kind and welcoming, and usually Bear gets nervous going into new places, but he was perfectly calm here. They even gave me 25% off for being a first-time customer, which I really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back!

Very disappointed with this visit. We were charged extra for “special handling” even though our dog has been groomed here before without any problems or extra fees. The explanation felt vague and unjustified. They claimed my dog was “anxious” yet the total was presented to me prior to the groom, how could you make that call before you even groomed my dog? On top of that, the groomer was unfriendly. We probably will not return. Which sucks for us because it is very close to home. Maybe it was just a bad day today?

I would NEVER bring my dog to Pet Wants Blue Ash again. Please read before you go. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The customer service is consistently rude, and there is never a reliable or consistent groomer. Every time I’ve taken my dog, she comes home visibly shaken and traumatized. They quoted me $99, had me sign paperwork, and then called after they had already started grooming to say the price was now $150. That’s unacceptable and feels intentionally deceptive. To make things worse, if you do find a groomer you and your pet like, don’t get too comfortable—because they’re suddenly gone without explanation. The company refuses to tell you where they went, which makes it clear that retaining your business is more important to them than your trust or your pet’s well-be

The last time we took our doodle to Pet Wants Blue Ash he came back home terrified and shaking all day following his groom. I have been taking him to this location for about three years and this will be my last visit. He is usually so excited to see the ladies when he arrives and comes back relaxed and playful, but this time he lay on the floor for hours trembling. I called the location to find out what happened and they acted like no big deal. Also the price for the groom DOUBLED for both dogs. My Doberman only needed a bath and nail trim, so to double that charge was uncalled for.
