Very clean clinic. Very affordable prices for all the services offered. During peak hours you can expect a wait time but there are a lot of clients which speaks to the quality of care here. The staff are also courteous and professional. If you need routine vet care or surgical procedures Pet Vet is the budget friendly place to go.

I highly recommend Pet Vet Clinic in Chiefland FL for your pets needs. We drive 2 hours one way because, they are the best. Good old fashion customer service greeted with a smile. No overcharging no over kill on test and such. He gets to the heart of the issue and fixes it.

Just visited yesterday for the first time. Im new to the area and they were recommended along with a couple other places. First, Ruby on the phone gave me prices and was patient and kind. Later, the vet and staff were also very nice, patient, kind and helpful. I had never put a pet down at a facility before and I'm relieved it happened here. My cat was older and in bad shape. I took her in to pass peacefully. I appreciate the bit of hope I felt when staff suggested possible treatment but the route decided was the best one I feel.

Very poor communication and follow through. Was informed of additional testing needed for a severe heart murmur and have waited for almost a month with no contact on lab results. Called MANY times and left voice message with no return phone call. Finally got someone to answer the phone today and was told to wait on hold for manager. I waited 15 minutes to be hung up on. I have called a handful of times after and it rings and rings with no answer. Left voice message. Will update if any follow through happens. My mother has been left worrying all holiday break about her dog’s condition and based on research medication could prolong his life if appropriate for his situation but need lab results to determine that. So we just went to Pet Vet Clinic for the first time for their dental cleaning special for our Jack Russell. Wow, what a great experience! We were in Chiefland for only 2 days camping at Manatee Springs State Park and Madison was able to schedule the procedure for the very next day. We thought it was a long shot that they would be able to fit us in for the next day but they were very accommodating! Madison made sure our Annie was first in line and she was finished before noon. We were on our way by 11:30 and Annie's teeth never looked better! So Kudos to Madison and the whole staff at Pet Vet Clinic! We will be back...
