The manager and the sales.associate, Sam, where so nice to me and my emotional support dog, Indigo. I won't say what they did for me here, but they both know and I GREATLY appreciate that. You can't find too any kind people in this world nowadays. Also, if your dog.needs thier nails.clipped and buffed, go on Tuesdays. You get the buff for free so it's $14. Would be more on any other day. Noah is gentle with my fur baby. This is always my pet store, wherever I am in the Chicagoland area...but this particular one has the greatest customer service.

Forever grateful to the staff I had the pleasure of meeting here tonight (01/08/2026). I brought in a stray dog, the sweetest old boy, to get a bath and received so much more. Beyond helpful, sincere and amazing people. They were so welcoming and kind and delivered the upmost care and love to this sweet dog. He came out a new happy boy, clean and taken care of. Special thanks to the groomer and for all of her help tonight, along with the girls who assisted her with pampering the sweet boy. Big thanks !

I went in today for my dog and wanted to look at the fish for my aquarium. I saw multiple beta fish, one of them was visibly dead, who knows for how long because it looked like it was decomposing in its container. There was at least two more dead in their containers. Super upsetting to see. I didn’t even want to look at the rest of their store to see how they take care of their animals. I would have mentioned it to the cashier, however she seemed extremely uninterested in helping and was not friendly when ringing up my things. She is definitely not a people person. Overall, this was not a good experience and would recommend others to go to a different location, I do like their rewards program. The Naperville location is much friendlier and their fish look more cared for.

This location used to always run out of stuff, but ever since the new mgmt took over I have never had an issue. My dog eats a mix of both Primal Pronto frozen and Stella & Chewy's dinner morsels. He also loves the Primal treats. Everything is always stocked. Plus the staff is super friendly. I have been helped by both Larysa and Sam. I recently was helped by one of the managers; Mike. It takes me 45 min to drive to this location because the one in the city by me is always out of stuff.

It used to be a great place to shop but in recent weeks and months it seems they have more out-of-stock than in-stock items. This has all the hallmarks of a store that is going out of business. UPDATE: since my last review above this store has really turned it around. I was hard-pressed to find any out of stocks and the employees were friendly and engaging and helpful. From what I understand this location is under new ownership and it really shows! Well done!
