Pet Supplies Plus Waukegan

We took our two dogs to Pet Supplies Plus in Waukegan for grooming because our usual location in Gurnee was closed. Unfortunately, when we got home, both of our dogs were covered in fleas. This has never happened to us before and was extremely upsetting. We now have to deal with flea treatment and cleaning our home. We will not be returning to this location.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Also love their grooming service

Although it's a small store, I like the convenience of the distance from my home, I can bring my dog for a pet wash and get the treats he likes!

Ive been going to the grooming department around 2 years already but today was one of the worst grooming experience that my dog has ever had. They butchered her really bad I really don’t complain about groomers. I know hair grows back but the way that they did my doggy is really wrong. I have a 3 year old yorkie and this hair cut idk if the young lady is new or if she was just in a rush but this was one of the worst haircuts my dog has had. Never had an issue before, my dog always lets herself and other groomers never had issues she’s always loved.

I go here for crickets. They’ve made a habit of giving too many crickets. Like WAY too many. They don’t even try to count. Usually wouldn’t bother me but the manager decides to chew ME out instead of the people who are bagging and “counting” the crickets It’s a super uncomfortable experience being chewed out by a manager you don’t even work for. I’d warn people of getting live feeders here. And be careful of the manager. He might just take the employees issue out on YOU! Edit: same employee was guilt tripping me on having a taxidermy frog purse. Their customer service is extremely hit or miss. I’ve also noticed a pattern of them having sick fish and rotten night crawlers. They’ll think cartons from 9/18 2025with rotten moldy shriveled up night crawlers are acceptable to be selling in Decem
