Pet Supplies Plus Norton Shores

Just writing this review to hopefully save someone else from having the same thing happen to them I'll start by saying the staff was very nice and helpful, the store was clean, and the dog and cat selection looked great. Unfortunately, I bought 15 guppies to go in my very established community tank. For the last year or so, it's only had 6 kuhli loaches in it. Upon acclimating them and getting them in their new home, several of the guppies looked really sick. I noticed ich on several of them and treated the tank. In 3 days they were all dead. Whatever they had also took out 2 of my 3+ year old kuhlis. I'd done daily water changes to accommodate for the increased bio load, but they clearly had some type of parasite or illness. (revised review -2 stars) We love this store, reliable dubia roaches restocked weekly + great cat and dog food selection. friendly staff who seem to genuinely care about all the live animals. Plus the store has great discounts/rewards 🤌✨ Revised review: We are very disappointed that this store location will be closing. Our pets and many other families in the community benefitted from this store and it's resources. The owner stated they are "moving on to other opportunities" but does not specify any real reason for closing the store. And even encouraged locals to shop at Petco or PetSmart instead.. This does not uphold the "shop local" slogan pet supplies plus has. We shopped at this store because the prices are better than the big box stores. I stand by what I said in my original review,

Went there today, looking for a food for my dogs very limited diet due to his allergies. The team lead spent a long time with me looking at different foods trying to find one that did not include his allergens. I really appreciated the time that she took to help me.

This place rocks my socks. They have the food my dogs like for a good price. I use the coupons and get good deals with their membership. Their dog washing area is great for small medium and large dogs. I get toys and treats when they are on sale!

The only way I could do that was if you had to do a lot more work and then you would be done by yourself so you would be fine and then I could just go home to you if I needed you and you could just come over here or I can just go home if I need you can just let us go home if we need you guys are you still going home or you want me too but you can just go to bed if I want to and then you just have a go home or I don’t want you guys and you don’t have a problem and you don’t want me and you can just come home to you know I just don’t wanna go to sleep over there I just don’t know if I can go home I just want you guys can just let you guys are not going home I just wanna be there and then you guys are going home
