Pet Supplies Plus Hazlet

Had not been in this store for a while, but went a little out of my way, because they had emailed a $5.00 coupon, informing me that they had converted my points into the coupon. Going through the store, I was greeted by more than one employee, and the cashier could not have been nicer… also very helpful to the person ahead of me. Not as large as a competitor, and, subsequently, does not carry the variety that the larger store does, but I still found what I needed. Very pleasant experience, and worth going a bit out of my way for.

You may have points, however you can't look them up while yout in the store. You phone won't let you. At least mine wouldn't. Then they expired and you can't use them. Well., if you spent and earned that %$5 or $10 DOLLAR CREDIT, IT SHOULF NEVER EXPIRE.

I have had my dogs groomed there for years, I have been satisfied every time except for the prices. With today’s prices it’s hard to leave the girls a tip. The groomers are great at their job, I have gone to other places, I always had a problem about the way they groom. Dee is always the best groomer. The 4 star is because I bring 3 dogs there and I just think that the nails cut and buffed $28.00 is a lot of money just to bring my dog in for that. I know I have to pay for good service. I just think that price is a little high for 20 toes. So it’s hard to give the groomers a tip.

PER PET SUPPLIES RESPONSE: There was a specific time mentioned at drop off. As stated in original review. It was mentioned when scheduling appointment and mentioned again at drop off. Yes, he's a senior dog but has been groomed all his life. It shouldn't take 4.5 hours to groom a miniature Schnauzer with an excellent temperament who's been groomed many times before. I will also mention this is not the first issue we've had with Pet Supplies grooming of Hazlet, but will be our last. Both myself and family members have had bad experiences with their groomers. Was first appointment of the day and asked to have my dog finished before I had to leave for work at 1:30pm. Called at 12:30pm and they had only bathed my dog. They said they were very busy and that's why they hadn't cut him y

This is a basic pet supply store and had potential, but the prices are outrageous. They have a lesser selection than Pet Smart, but prices about 30-40% higher. It's a place to pick up items that are needed that you can't find at ShopRite in the pet aisle.
