Pet Supplies Plus Glenarden

I am sharing this to warn other pet owners. I brought both of my dogs in for grooming. Prior to this appointment, both dogs were healthy and had no paw, nail, or skin issues. At pickup, I specifically asked whether there were any issues and was told there were none. The following morning, I noticed one of my dog’s nails had been cut far too short — past the quick and into a blood vessel. She required veterinary care. I was informed that this type of injury is not something that would typically go unnoticed during grooming. My other dog also developed redness and irritation on her paw pads and began licking excessively. Again, neither dog had any prior issues before this visit. I contacted the store immediately, provided photos and veterinary documentation, and attempted to resolve the

SOO MANY OPTIONS FOR ALL ANIMALS!! & FREQUENT SALES/DISCOUNTS!!? I can count on this store to for my bearded dragon, and my fur babies. The store’s ALWAYS clean. I felt compelled to write this review today just based on the outstanding customer service provided today. My senior dog is such a picky eater, a had someone spend over 30 minutes of time GLADLY helping me decide the best options! I was shocked by the kindness! It is so important to support a business that truly has a love for animals and pet supplies plus clearly does that. The sales/discounts here are great as well!! In comparison they either price match with pet-smart or it costs less. Cannot recommend this location enough. Definitely better, cheaper, and healthier options.

Better in quality and cheaper than Petsmart. I love the push they have for natural pet food ingredients. You can tell this company truly cherishes animals. Support Local Pet Stores!! My dogs are obsessed with their pastry session. And no more mess and wet dog smell at home when I have the convenience of coming in store and giving my dog a quick bath! The groomers here do a great job as well but if your dog is a little anxious you have the option to self-groom them!! This location SETS THE STANDARD! The friendly staff and customer service always BLOWS my mind. I will always come back.

We were THRILLED when @petsuppliesplus @petsuppliesplusglenarden opened near us! Since it’s gotten colder, we can no longer wash @donidaneandzuripop in the garage & oddly, there are no self serve dog washes around anymore! & I was able to do this nine months pregnant! This Pet Supplies Plus has it all - friendly staff, pet supplies for any type of pet, grooming & self serve dog washes (3)! Plus it’s a #blackownedbusiness ! 🫶🏽 They have lots of deals, so sign up for their emails & rewards program!

I truly love the Pet Supplies Plus company, but store is really a disappointment. I used to frequent the location in Beltsville, MD when it opened, however I ended up moving to a different city and driving there was too far. So, I was excited when I saw they were opening a location near me in July 2025. I so excited because the obly pet store in the area is Petsmart in Largo which is alway filthy and poorly stocked. And July/August 2025 was where the first disappointment started. I remember driving by the store location in August and still seeing the sign on the windows saying "coming July 2025". Given that it was already August, the store obviously was not coming in July as July had passed and it wasn't open. Then I randomly looked for pets store this week because my bearded dragons ran
