Pet Supplies Plus Elizabeth City

The worker in the fish department sold my grandparents 4 Betta fish . And told them it would be perfectly fine to house them all in a single 10 gallon tank. This is not okay. I went into the store the same night after spending over 400 on a new tank and supplies the worker doubled down saying 4 female bettas could live together in a 10 gallon tank. This is not okay. A quick Google search would tell you otherwise. Edit: The Manager Contacted us, they were very respectful. The manger was very nice on the phone and assured me that this was not their practice but an accident. She assured me that the employee had been talked to and confirmed that you indeed can't even put 2 in a 10 gallon. Fish are living creatures and deserve not only to live but to thrive. We have been going to Pet Supplies in Elizabeth City since 2021 with our two dogs for grooming. One of our babies is small and old and has a difficult time trusting people. I am always confident that we will not have issues taking them here. Hannah & Destiny are two of the main groomers and they are phenomenal with our grumpy old man. Not to mention, they get the job done exactly to what our requests are. Thank you ladies so much for you amazing skills.

Every time I'm in Elizabeth City, I make a point to stop by this pet supply store. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they carry a great selection of products for all kinds of pets. Whether I need food, toys or something special, I can usually find what I'm looking for. The store is clean, well-organized and clearly run by people who care about animals. Highly recommend!

Great service. Friendly. They have several new brands than they did when they first opened for cats so I buy part of my cat's food here now versus online or in Virginia. I am happy we got a Pet Supplies Plus in ECity!
