Pet Supermarket

I needed to get some flea meds for our cats and found this place close by. I think this place is fairly new and it had quite an array of selections for all sorts of pets. They had a professional bathing section and an aisle of cute bunnies and rabbits. The lady that helped me was very informative and knew her stuff. She got me signed up for their rewards and told me about some holiday deals. I do think their prices are a bit steep, especially for cat snacks and the flea meds I’ve seen on Amazon for cheaper but I get it. I really did like their variety of cat snacks and toys so I grabbed a couple of those items as well. Nice people, nice pet store.

We went in there today to check out this place for the first time and grab some hamster bedding. I was very pleased to see that their animals conditions are much better than petsmart and petco. All the rodents looked very well taken care of. The hamsters temporary homes were much bigger than petsmart/petco and they actually had a decent amount of bedding. Yes it was a little pricier than the other chain pet stores, but I think this store puts a lot more effort into their small animals care and that made the bedding worth the price. I was pleased to see the items they had available for hamsters that were actually safe. If I could recommend one thing- I highly recommend getting a 75 gal display tank with deep bedding, big wheels, proper hide outs to promote ethical hamster care! Petsmart pro

Picked up some fish. Tight on staffing ( came during lunch breaks) Only one clerk to scoop fish and ring out. She was delightful and knowledgeable. Tho we had a wait our two year old and 5 year old had plenty of other animals and cat toys to look through so not a terrible experience. Fish and plants were of decent quality. I would return to do more business.

I like this store! The selection of dog toys and dog food is really good and they have good prices! I will say though it seems like the management needs better customer service training.. they lack a certain type of friendliness and just seem to not enjoy being there that much. The older blonde woman, I don't know her name but I did hear her speaking to staff with a condescending tone which isn't helpful for their growth. I did however have a good interaction with Megan I think her name was. She helped me find the specific dog food I needed and she was nice. Thanks Megan!

Store manager and assistant store manager made me feel uncomfortable. I was looking all over the store for 10 minutes for a product and saw it on the top shelf. No one was there to help so I saw a ladder and got it down myself. She yelled at me for using the ladder and told me it’s a liability. The assistant store manager told me the same thing in the nasty yelling. I told her y’all weren’t there to help me so I helped myself. They were not nice at all. Both managers looked like they did not like working there. They need to get a new job.
