Pet Supermarket

I’ve been shopping here for years, clean space, good prices and amazing staff always. but lately they are too understaffed to even function properly. I practically have to wait in line to be helped by the employees! I don’t know if they changed management but this reflects badly on them that they’re working these poor kids to the bone with no support. Do better!

I come here all the time to pick up supplies for my dogs and my daughters bearded dragon. We saw these reptiles in their enclosure at the Pet Supermarket in Homestead. One of them was dead and the other one looked unwell. My granddaughter advised the employee at the front and she was told that the reptile was alive that it was moving around several days ago. Seriously? She immediately told us what the employee said and my daughter, husband and I went to the front to advise him that the reptile was infact dead. He said that the reptiles were not well and they didn't know why. Truth be told the fish, reptiles and mammals are not well cared for by the employees who do not have the skill set to take care of them.

They don’t take good care of the animals they sell. Most of the fish I’ve purchased from there are sick and die after a few days

BEWARE !! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG FOR VACCINATIONS ! They gave our dog a 2 year rabies vaccine and only a one year tag . then they wanted to shoot her up a third time to get the tag for the second year !!! Now she is crippled from a huge tumor at the injection site and has had seizures ever since her shots . Was a healthy dog before those shots !!!! Bought a mouse to feed to our snake . put it in a tank to wait for evening feeding . heard a strange sound and saw the mouse having a horrible seizure . spitting up and seizing ! died a horrible death ! Thank goodness i didnt feed it to my snake !!!!!!

Great experience employees very helpful, very friendly and professional. I walked inside to just buy a dog toys and ended up buying more than what I expected prices were great. The employees walk right up to you and ask you if you need help. The employee that walked up to me helped me select a variety of different appropriate dog toys and when I asked him where the rabbit food was he showed me a wide range of selection of rabbit food and toys for my pet. Very helpful staff overall help me locate a store closer where I live in pembroke pines.
